Crypto research guides

A better way to research crypto.

Learn how to structure a repeatable research process, backtest crypto signals without leakage, and judge confidence without hiding costs, small samples, or uncertainty.

Three guides. One research discipline.

Each guide answers a different question: how to investigate a market idea, how to test it against history, and how to decide whether the resulting number deserves trust.

Core concepts

The vocabulary of careful crypto research.

These ideas matter more than any indicator name. They help separate an interesting chart from evidence that can survive another look.

Base rate
How often an outcome occurs before the proposed setup adds any information.
Point-in-time
A view that includes only information actually available when the decision would have been made.
Confidence interval
A range that shows how uncertain an estimate remains instead of presenting one precise number as fact.
Calibration
Whether events described as 60% likely occur near 60% of the time across comparable cases.
Net outcome
The result after fees, spread, slippage, funding, gas, and other relevant frictions.
Abstention
A deliberate refusal to make a stronger claim when evidence, freshness, or uncertainty is inadequate.

What you will not find here.

No invented success stories

No fabricated testimonials, performance claims, or convenient examples presented as measured evidence.

No keyword-shaped filler

Every page serves a distinct research question and links to the underlying public methodology where relevant.

No instruction to trade

The material explains research discipline. It does not tell you to buy, sell, connect a wallet, or place an order.
